was certificated by the USCG for carriage of 152 passengers. It's Official Number
is D261411. This vessel was built in 1951, it is 82.9 feet long, the beam
19.0 feet, and it has a depth of 8.8 feet. It's Gross Tonnage is 89
register tons and it's Net Tonnage is 60 register tons. It's COI,
Certificate of Inspection, is
presently inactive. It's last COI was issued on November 9, 2005. A
new COI can be obtained if necessary.
This historic Honolulu fireboat is
still functional and it's monitors still work. It is wonderful for
nautical shows, boat parades and celebrations on the water. After it was
released from the Honolulu Fire Department, it was used for a while as a
passenger tour boat in Honolulu Harbor. With it's vintage looks, it would
also be a great floating show piece for a nautical museum.
